Gabriel Silva Gives Back - Winter Storm

Gabriel Silva Gives Back - Winter Storm

Texas teen actor/model Gabriel L. Silva is proud to partner with Kids' Meals Houston to help end childhood hunger during these unprecedented and challenging times.

"As a native Houstonian, I experienced the same power and water outages as many in our city during the devastating winter storm. We were among those who experienced minimal damage where so many others are suffering tremendously. Knowing that I am my brother's keeper, I wanted to give back. I have called on some of my industry friends to help me spread the word so that together, we can reach our goal of 1,000 meals to feed children through Kids' Meals Houston. No donation is too small as it only takes $2.00 to feed those who are among the most vulnerable in our city."

Kids' Meals Houston provides meals to low-income families who are in need with preschool-aged kids. They deliver meals directly to apartments, trailers, and homes of hungry children in 43 Houston-area zip codes.

Please join my friends and I in helping to make sure that Kids' Meals Houston can continue its meaningful mission to feed kids. As a result of the storm, all perishable foods were destroyed, so we need you to help!

Gabriel L. Silva was born on May 23, 2005, and started acting in school plays in his hometown of Houston, TX. He began acting and modeling classes at the Page Parkes Center for Acting and Modeling. Gabriel has shared the big screen with Hollywood A-listers such as Ben Affleck and Zoe Saldana in Live By Night. He also got the opportunity to fly high in an exhilarating escape from Rodan alongside Elizabeth Ludlow, Anthony Ramos, and O'Shea Jackson in the 2019 box office hit Godzilla: King of the Monsters. In addition to acting, Gabriel models for Atlanta clothing brand FadeLife Clothing. Gabriel's, Just Talk With Gabe was recently picked up by I Heart Radio, is streaming in 15 different countries. Rounding out Gabriel's artistic endeavors, he has taken on the challenge of becoming an entrepreneur, taking action against bullying's social injustices with his digital magazine, Action Magazine.

In Support of Kids' Meals Inc.
Kids’ Meals, Inc. is the nation’s only free, healthy meal delivery program for children.  Our mission is to end childhood hunger in Houston by delivering meals every weekday, year-round,  directly to the homes of poverty-stricken preschool-aged children who suffer from food insecurity and often live in food deserts.  We focus on children age 5 and under who are not only at a critical development stage, but cannot access school-based free meal programs. We share grocery bags of fresh produce/pantry staples and connect families with vital wrap-around services to help break the poverty cycle.
